No job is too tough to tackle by Abodee
Over the years, volatile organics to clean the jets lead to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) getting into the underground water streams and then into houses surrounding Hill Air Force Base (HAB). The same technology to remove radon from houses was used to stop the underground volatile oganic gases from getting into the house.
Abodee won the competitive bidding to mitigation the VOCs in surrounding houses in 2009 and 2010.
To test a house for volatile organics can run to over $4,000. Rather than running another expensive test the HAB determined if there was slight negative pressure across the concrete floor, then the VOCs had been removed. The clearance criteria was 0.005 column inches of water suction. By way of comparison the measurement of suction in the exhaust pipe is about 1.500 water column inches.
